Zoetrope

A zoetrope is a traditional animation viewer originating in 19th-century England. The device uses narrow, equidistant slits and a drum-like body to create the illusion of movement. This particular zoetrope features high-contrast colors and simple geometry to depict an abstracted sun and ocean.
